And the biggest plus is that it’s designed and serviced in Canada. In my 5 decades of grooming watching the development of HV dryers from the beginning, this one has covered all the bases. Quiet. Light. Powerful. Adjustable dial. Multiple nozzle attachments. Ample hose length. Easy maintenance. Standard electrical outlet. And MUCH more affordable than the comparable dryers. It’s a wonderful product.

I was skeptical of Alpha due to its size and construction but once I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised by its power and performance. It’s a great lightweight alternative to our usual K9-II dryer, and just as powerful to use non-stop for a full week of grooming. The variable speed helped adjust airflow to use on small to large breeds and the extendable hose could easily reach around the grooming table to keep me mobile.

I was Iffy about the length of the hose when I first unpackaged it but I SUPER LOVE how it extends when the unit is on and shrinks back down when not in use!! It’s honestly my favourite feature!
